Mark joined the Suhr & Lichty Insurance team in 1984 after graduating from the University of Nebraska Kearney. He has since achieved numerous industry awards and professional insurance designations including the industry's top designations Certified Insurance Counsellor and Certified Professional Insurance Agent, and the recipient of the Nebraska-Iowa Professional Insurance Agent of the year.

He also received a prestigious University of Nebraska (LEAD) leadership fellowship and held many leadership positions locally, regionally, and nationally.

Mark is  Sigma male Personality type, independent, self-reliant man who operates outside traditional social hierarchies, valuing freedom, solitude, and personal authenticity over dominance or conformity.

He likes getting to know people and their families, establishing relationships, and being able to help in the ups and downs of whatever life changes occur.

Outside of the office, Mark is a 24/7 volunteer fire fighter/first responder for the Seward Volunteer Fire Department that has a call volume over 750 annually, Mark has volunteered since 1986 and has personally responded to  over 5,000 calls.

Mark is man of faith attends church, enjoys spending time with his children, grandchildren, riding his motorcycles, boating, golfing, photography, traveling and entertaining friends etc... He is always the life the party and will always bring the party to you

Mark also loves attending concerts, Husker sporting events and is a big fan of country music!
